Doctor Who colouring in help.
Hiya all. Have searched through the reference pages but can't seem to find what I'm after so I hope you can help!!

I'm in need of Doctor who colouring in pages. Anything for bored kids (Or equally bored adults!!) But I can't seem to find any anywhere. Have tried psp brushes but you don't seem to get enough spare colouring space.

Anyone know where I can get some images?

(note to mods, colouring in tag pls?)

Well, thinking about it, I can't think of any coloring pages having ever been posted on here. (Which would be why there isn't a tag for them!) You might try some of the stencils, though they're more simplistic. Also, the Doctor Who Technical Manual book is full of black-and-white line drawings that might color well. And if you're desperate, you might be able to use the Comic Maker to make pages, then use photoshop to turn them black-and-white for coloring purposes.

One other thought: the Doctor Who 2006 Font, if typed at some ridiculously large size like 300 pt, will give you nice clear black-and-white drawings.

Oh, rats...Comic Maker is not usable outside the UK. :( What does it do, exactly, so that I might go about finding an alternative?

Actually, I have discovered in my new-house-unpacking, a "Doctor Who Technical Manual" from the early 80's I think. It has line-art, front and side views of Daleks, K-9 and other gadgetry. I have been meaning to scan some of the pages for this community but had not gotten around to it yet. Particularly the pages on Build Your Own Paper Tardis. I shall definitely figure out how post them in my LJ scrapbook and a community post later.

Otherwise, it's been difficult to contribute to this community other than "oooh cute" comments. :-/ Just wait 'til I have my workshop set up. Um, and a camera.

That book and its illustrations are fairly common to find scanned already in various places, for those into searching a bit.

OH. Drat. I thought I had found a treasure. Well, it's still a treasure to me.

And to me! I've loved it ever since it was new and in-print.

If you look around there are scans of the storybook illustrations online [but comeon, not linking them due to that whole legal thing] and you could photoshop out the color of most of them pretty easily.
Or, you could look for fanart, of which there are thousands of things, on deviantart or http://community.livejournal.com/500year_diary or any number of fanart comms out there. Good luck, this is going to be obscure.

I know the BBC site USED to have colouring pages to print out. Wether or not they still do I shall investigate!

Yes here in the archive some from the third series!

hidden in the archives of the bbc page.

they use to be easier to find, then they updated to a new site. i liked the old one better personally. but anywho, ranting aside, a couple pictures, and they encourage printing them out to color.

I made some Nine and Ten paperdolls a while back. You are more than welcome to colour and cut them out.

Here is the link to Ten, check my gallery for more clothes and Nine.

I do actually know someone on Deviant art that makes 'colour your own' Doctor Who characters!
