The Doctor Goes To War

I belong to a medieval re-creation group called the SCA. This week and next is the largest gathering of the organization - a two week camping convention.

One of my friends made a shower tent that looks just like the Tardis. And totally fits the Anacronism part of the Society for Creative Annacronism.

I just had to share

I am so sorry to read that your chapter was backward. Too bad you aren't near Bloomington, Indiana. Lot's of women participate in everything.

As you're coming up Currie road, just past the west gate, look over by the merchants, you should see the Tardis there.

This is awesome. And the beauty of the TARDIS is that it's never anachronistic! It is ALWAYS APPROPRIATE. :D

That. Is. BRILLIANT!! You're right that it fits perfectly into the SCA. I mean, really, you can't argue with the presence of a TARDIS, no matter what era your group focuses on reenacting. Vehicle traveling through all of time? Check!

it's a merchant along currie road. The merchant is Master Kenhelm. Not quite at the Bazaar next to west gate. Best way to see the tardis though will be from the street.

I think I'd squee myself to death if I ran across a TARDIS at an event. And then I'd promptly have to beg and plead to check out the inside. Just to, you know, make sure it's not bigger on the inside or something. And giggle some more.

That does give me great ideas for other events though . . .

I'm a part of the SCA in Evansville, IN~ :D! I'm also part of the Medieval Society of UofE /o\ I might love it too much?

However, I am SO jealous you get to go to Pennsic!!! I wanted to go so bad this year, but didn't have the money :(
