Van Gogh Ornament

I painted this one myself!!

EDIT TO ADD:

After so many people wanted one, I decided to put my last few up on ebay, so I'm all out of free ones. :(  Since Crafty Tardis isn't a fan of pay posts, I will NOT be posting the link to the auction, but if you're interested, you are more than welcome to contact me.

Awww, what a neat idea. I like how it looks like a sort of random pattern until you really notice it. :D

What kind of paint did you use? I kinda wanna make one too.

I just used regular craft store paint. The trick was deciding which layer was under which.

Yeah, I don't think I could pull of an elaborate design like that. You did a great job!
I'm thinking I'm just gonna try a generic TARDIS image since I've never actually done this before.

It was actually easier than I expected because of the impressionist style. It was less trying to make the image and more matching shapes and color.

Hmm, that's a good point. It's probably harder to get away with mistakes when you're trying to draw something realistically. Here you can always just say it was supposed to be that way. XD
