I made a warm and soft knit dress. The thing was done for two weeks. Wear it too late, I'll be wearing next winter:)

And here is knitting pattern, but it's a slightly modified:

Hi everyone,
With help from the crafty drwho community I have finally finished my pattern for all eleven mini Doctors and combined it into one hopefully easy to use PDF. If you're a crocheter, I'd love to see anything you create from the pattern - save the PDF from Pixelated Mushroom if interested. Thanks for Crafty Tardis' support along the way :)

Hi there!
I've joined NerdWars on Ravelry this tournament (starting on October) and for one challenge I've designed this cell phone cozy. I don't like Eleven very much but our Team Unity Project are bowties now so that's why I've crochetted this.
But I really like very much how has turned it out so I'll surely try also some other Doctor(s) outfit(s). At least NIne or Ten :).

I was making notes during the process so I've tried also to write down the pattern. So if you're interested, you can try it, it's easy, just changing colours :).

Ravelry download (I hope it's working).
I'd love to see your cozies if you'd make them :)

I've been meaning to knit a cybermat for a while now... I finally got around to it. Kill me before I knit again, man... :)

A friend just passed this along to me, and I don't recall seeing it on this community before, though I very well might have just missed it.

It's a pattern from the BBC to make your own Riversong journal cover, which I thought might be handy.

You could do it much nicer than with just tape, do a proper book binding cover thing for it.

(I laughed when I added the 'spoilers' tag.)

Hello everyone! I've been a bit of a lurker, I'm not going to lie. And I have to admit that I am in the midst of some amazing talent!  You all are very inspiring. So, I've decided to post a few things of my own. I like to consider myself quite crafty and a whovian. I have been creating a few Doctor Who inspired crafts. I and currently working on a few things with polymere clay, as well as getting my cross stiching on. That being said, I would like to show you all the cross stitch designs that I have come up with. These projects always begin with conversations between me and my husband. I mention making a scarf. He brings up Doctor Who. I say TARDIS. He says pockets. I say buttons on the pockets. And then this comes into being:

A garbled bit of a pattern, and some Daleks for wee folk... )

Hi everyone.

I'm knitting myself a blanket with Doctor Who motives.

I started spinning on a wheel last year and still learing different technics. Since with every new technic there is a learing curv I have a lot of "not really balanced or preety"-yarn. With this yarn, dyed green, I'm knitting said blanket.

I already used the TARDIS- and Dalek-Dishcloth patterns, but obviously needed more.

Pics of all four so far: )

So I charted a "Seal of Rassilon" and a "Cybermen"-Dishcloth and you can download the pattern here:

Hi everyone :)

For all the knitters who have been missing out on the crochet versions, here is my Big and Cuddly pattern converted into knitting ^_^

Jump over to my blog Pixelated Mushroom to download the free pattern

This is certainly not the most elegant knitting pattern, having been converted from crochet, but it worked surprisingly well.
Pattern includes instructions for both knitting flat  or knitting in the round, so beginners can have a go too.

Hi lovelies,
it's been ages since I checked in with a Doctor Who project, but finally inspiration came and made me laugh out loud. I just had to write this up.

“It’s a fez, I wear a fez now… Fezzes are cool”
Flip top mitts featuring Matt Smith’s bowtie and favourite fez. Mitts flip towards front of hand & fasten with buttons so as not to obscure bowtie

Pattern PDF and more pics can be found here

I'd been meaning to create flip top mitts for a while, but wasn't sure of a theme. Then I saw a couple of stencil style images that just showed Matt Smith's bowtie and fez and the idea of featuring these on some mitts came to mind.

I hope they make you laugh too - and that they could be handy for Doctor Who swaps and the like!
